cheaper than therapy lololololol I just got home from buying 6 more therapy sessions.

I found myself also needing something to fix, which is also cheaper than getting a fix

So glad you understand! Tonight, I sorted out the 201K machines and decided to totally part out one. There are three 99K machines and only one has japanning worth the extreme effort. Of course, all of these sweeties came from the UK and whatever motors/lights they had must be converted. Still, it was a wonderful weekend of discovering, cleaning, and learning. Back to herding cats tomorrow.

Annette, I sent you a PM.
10X I know I've seen your VW before. I don't remember if I told you it looks great! When I was young and didn't have bills I played with cars some. I have a lot of respect for people who can do it right. These days I don't even change my own oil.
I need to schedule a room yet but I'm looking at another get-together sometime toward the end of next month, possibly the beginning of March. I'm going to aim for Tumwater this time because they have great parking compared to Centralia. I'll post here and in the events section once the arrangements are made. I hope you all can make it.

Annette,

Even if you have to part-out some of the machines, at least, you will know what you are selling. I've seen so much on ebay and the people have no earthly idea what they are selling. Just an example, I saw a puzzle box listed on ebay the other day -- I wouldn't even waste my time looking at it -- minimum bid was listed at $160.00! LOL!

Enjoy your machines. That's what hobbies are for! (excuse my grammar -- it's on medical leave!Ha!) LOL!

It seems to me that those machines could be secured to the wall (without damaging them) to eliminate any danger during an earthquake!

redbugsullivan, I completely understand! I wish we could save them all, but in some situations it's just a heartbreak to see so much history waiting to be hauled off to the dump!
