Kenmore 385.12490 Tension Assembly
#11
OMG! I just read this. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am going to go down and do it now. I'll report back once I'm done. Thanks again!
Oh! I was so excited that I forgot to hit the "Post Quick Reply" button before I went downstairs. Anyway, I am back and your instructions were PERFECT! The tension assembly is back on, feels sturdy, and works wonderfully. Thank you again. I'll be saving these instructions on my hard drive in case I need help with this tension in the future. I could not find anything on the web for this and my attempts at guessing were not successful.

Judy, I was hoping you'd check back here before you ordered a new one. I took the tension apart on my 385.1249 just a couple weeks ago so, it was still fresh in my memory. So glad I could help, Pat
