that's gorgeous. I'll bet the stitcher that set down to that the first time felt like I did when I set up my Janome 8900 and turned it all...all those lights!! Like an airport runway

Pretty Pretty! I agree, I'd get it now and figure it out later.

I have one that looks similar. I got it at an auction. I had to evict the wasps before I could put it in the truck. It was dirty, dirty, dirty and smelly - NOTHING was moving. Mine has a metal cam stack but it looks a little flimsy to me compared to a Singer or even the plastic. I got it moving but the stitch selection knob failed to move so I forced it too much then it turned freely on the shaft... I got it fixed at Ray White's class and the machine now works. I don't love how it sews. It has a left needle position. There is really nothing tricky and it really doesn't need all kinds of cool knobs but it is a lot of fun to look at. I love the color - it matches my BIL's Tbird from the same era. Here is a link to other Japanese machines that do fancy stitches: http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...s-t207880.html
Here is a pic of my Dressmaker - it's on the shelf - looks like it needs some more TLC and maybe spend a little time with Wilbur and play with it a bit:

I love the look. It should be easy to find a cord for it.

Very cool! Is that a clock, or a stitch control on it?

Frudemoo, can you post a pix of the plug end? do you think it will be hard to match?
