No idea about how to store many bobbins, but those kitties sure are cuties! Be careful that they don't eat any of that thread as creates havoc and worse for them. Good luck figuring a good system for storage.
Edited to add: I have one of those plastic drawer thingies the previous poster linked. I store thread and bobbins together ...one drawer for each thread colorway.

I keep my bobbins in medium to small canning jars. This was the quick and easy solution I used when my 301 came to me with 40+ bobbins. Quick glance and I can grab the right jar to dig out a bobbin. Luckily my machines only use 5 different sizes of bobbins.

Not counting the long bobbins our machines use:
Class 66
Class 15
Class ?? 9W-7, FW, 301
White - Kenmore
319 type

I "think" that pretty much covers it. But I do segregate the plastic from the metal ones, and the vintage from the modern versions.
