I had my great grandmother's treadle. I have already given it to my daughter. It's a red-eye too. I just love treadles.

She's a treasure! I'm am so glad you're going to use your treadle. Your Grandma would be so pleased to see you using it.

Oh how nice. I wish I had my GM's treadle but she got rid of it all by herself when she got a new one. I love your story and wondered where you had gone. I haven't seen any of your messages lately.

She is so beautiful, I have one that looks just like Her. I just don't have the cabinet. Love Her as your Grand Mother did and She will be good to you. She will be around for a long time to come.

How lucky you are to have your grandmother's treadle machine. My BIL hauled grandma's treadle machine (the one I first learned to sew on) to the dump when he was helping to clean out her garage after she died. He thought it was just "junk". Needless to say, BIL was not on my favorites list. He was at the top of another list however. LOL. I was really upset with him. Years later, my hubby found a machine just like it and bought it for me for Valentines Day. That was the beginning of my antique sewing machine collection. I just love the old machines.
