    needle for 115

    I'm sure I have identified my treadle as a 115. A regular needle does not work .
    Any one know what kind of Needle

    This source shows the 115 as using a 15x1 needle seated flat to the right:

    If you look at the last post by me on the vintage sewing machine photos you can see my Singer 115. Does your machine look like mine? I changed out the face plate on my machine, so yours would look different. My machine takes a 15x1 needle, same as all modern machines use.
