This does appear to be a recent clone. Check the warranty card. There should be a place for your e-mail. The machine number should be on the bottom, underside. Even as a clone, the performance is outstanding, and for my money, is better than many of the newer machines. Great Score!

Ask Billy known as lostn51 here on this wonderful site. If indeed she is a 15 she is pretty did you get any attachments with her? If you can get varication that she is indeed a model #15 I know where you can get attachments for her. PM me when you find out the model # for sure.

I don't know anything about old machines, except that after coming to this board I want one!

She is a beauty. Old or not - beautiful. Enjoy :)

My DH and I have collected Vintage and Antique Singers for a long time and he is the expert about them (I am just the "sewer"). He says the only machines he knows of that were hand painted were the very early models, model 24 and earlier Fiddle Base Singers. The rest were all decals. It is a very nice machine. If it sews well, the age doesn't matter.
