    Hey Steve... I have this lady who has an old Singer treadle that she wants to give away. I'm pretty sure it's early 1900's... I said sure... I can always rehome it... (Famous last words)

    We'll start with these two of it still in my Jeep....

    Singer Model 31-20

    Would turn but VERY stiffly.

    Tri-Flow to the rescue!! She spins smooth as any other machine now...

    I would repaint that machine since it's so sad looking right now. It neeeds more than a spa treatment.

    Cool machine, funny I was looking at a 241 sitting outside a place here in town just this morning. They have a sort of semi permanent garage sale there. Guy wants $400 for it. Way too rich for my blood plus it was missing the cover plate on the needle end. Your 31 looks like a very good basic machine to me but I really know nothing about the commercial models.
    Nice Avatar. What kind of armor? It may be off topic but I'd like to see more.
