FYI Juki TL 98 E for sale at LSMG
While at the LSMG shop today I spied a Juki TL 98 E machine. I was impressed. It's a mechanical, metal bodied straight stitch machine with an arch the same as or bigger than a Singer 66 or 201.
This one was used but had the manual, controller, and attachments in a bag.
When I asked about it the owner said it was for sale, he'd just taken it in on a trade. Although I don't normally like the current crop of machines I did like this one.
Since we can't afford it I thought I'd post a heads up on it in case anyone in the IL area might be interested. If so let me know and I'll forward the contact info to you.

I have that machine and it is a workhorse for me. good machine. speed is great and sometimes gets away from me. I bought it to put on a quilt frame and have not done so. ahh.... I started buying vintage machines!
