Yes it is a Bento Box, except you cut it differently. I saw it on a blog and now can't find who to credit it to, sorry. Normally it is cut into equal quarters, but this is cut 1.5 inches from the edge of the center square (which is 5 inches) thus you get a 1.5 inch and a 3.5 inch square and two rectangles in the center.

Thank You Mrs. Finch for the directions.

The quilt in my avatar is a Bento Box quilt. It belongs to my friend's daughter, Katie is 9 months old. Sharon in Texas

Sewed on "Seminole" my Singer 201-2 (Pic 5) and quilting it on my Handi Quilter II and "Gorda" my other 201-2. Could not find a good batman panto, so I made my own by coping four per page and cutting and joining them to make panto (Pic 4). Then I cut the batman logo vertically in the middle. Pass one on the frame does the top of each logo and pass two does the bottom of the logo carefully joining each batman. Pic #3 is how it shows on the quilt. Working so far, only a million more passes to go, LOL! Love my Vintage machines.
And, Pennycandy, your QAYG is beautiful. Great job. |

Very nice Deriz56!

Both are really beautiful. I would like to make a quilt on my treadle. The stitching on these older machines are beautiful!
