Don't you just love it when the lister tries to pass themselves off as a sewing machine authority and give us a history lesson? Featherweight??? I'm confused.

I think he just did a cut and paste from some website somewhere.

Edited...I just did a search and those exact words came up in several places, blogs, ebay, etc. And all for different machines. The internet is a dangerous tool in the hands of the wrong people.!

Just out of curriosity, how many of ya had to contact the person and tell them how screwed up that was?

I emailed him and he said that he put the serial # number into a search and that's what came up. I emailed him again to just give him a little info on the 221 vs an industrial machine....which is also worth a good amount of money but it would be for a different type of sewing, that's all.

I didn't bother. I've done that before only to meet with an angry person on the other end of the email. Not worth my time and trouble.

If a FW had a motor like that, it would fly. I suppose they are thinking a dumb person would believe and buy that. Most people who are looking for FWs know what they are looking for--and at!
