That's a well-educated guess and probably correct.

I wrote a blog post about Wilbur and the coffee. If I can find it I'll put it up here...

I had charge of 3 small wild children for an hour and a half. We were at the bank in the waiting room and everybody else was in the banker's office. First Wilbur (age 3) picked up a big old potted plant and announced in his very high pitched extra loud little voice, "GRANDMA, this plant needs water!!!" I say, "Ok Wilbur put it on a table." sigh. Then he found a magazine. He tried to read the magazine out loud. It was all about coins. "MONEY, GRANDMA!!!" "I SEE MONEY!!!" sigh. "Wilbur, can you count the money?" That worked for a couple minutes. Then he started greeting people - I got him back to the waiting area. sigh. Walter wanted to crawl but I wouldn't let him. He is 14 months and stands alone but he won't walk. There was a round table so I stood him by it. He drummed on the table. He tried to climb the table. Mostly he stood by the table or tried to crawl off. We were waiting for my Dad and Mom to show up so I had Wilbur watch for their car. So he stood in the window. ARGH. Oh well. At least he was contained. sigh. Then he announced all the cars that went through the drive up. I bet the 20 people in the line were amused. If the car wasn't a primary color it was brown. No convincing the boy it was silver or tan or gray. NOPE it was "BROWN GRANDMA!" OK. Then he moved the plant some more - it really did need water. So a punky looking 20 year old came in with blue hair - earings.... Wilbur looked him up and down. I was afraid of what he would say but he didn't say anything. SHOCK. Then the punky looking guy decided he was going to make a cup of coffee in the one cup of coffee dispenser. Well, Wilbur got about a foot away from the cup and Lovie (6 years old) climbed up on the chair and watched the punky kid make coffee. They were fascinated. Then magic. Yeah brown liquid comes out of the machine. "LOOK GRANDMA!!! BROWN JUICE!! - BROWN JUICE!!!" The punky kid lost it. He looked at Wilbur and said calmly. "Bean juice" So Wilbur announced to the whole world in his very high pitched extra loud little voice "THAT MAN IS MAKING BEAN JUICE, GRANDMA!!!" I said, "Wilbur, he is making coffee." So Wilbur announced to the whole wide world. "BEAN JUICE COFFEE, GRANDMA! BEAN JUICE COFFEE!" So the guy asked Wilbur if he wanted a cup, too. ARGH. I told Wilbur you had to be an adult to drink that stuff and it was hot and could burn his mouth. I was afraid to tell him what my dad told my brother at that age... He used to say it would put hair on his chest... So we sat there and I inched Walter around the table - then he took a short cut to a chair - first time for both. We messed around looking at the coin magazine some more and wasting lots of time... Then a big older black man came in looking to make some coffee - I was waiting for some comment from Wilbur... he does know how to be quiet once in a while... He scooted up there a foot away from the coffee maker and Wilbur told the man how to make 'bean juice' - I noticed the man waited a bit before he drank some. I think he didn't want to laugh and drink hot coffee er ah bean juice.... More messing around with nothing to do.... Longest hour and a half in a very long time. At one point I picked up Walter's hands and walked him back to Momma - she about fell off her chair - he wouldn't do that for her - he would sit down as soon as he thought he was going to have to move. So I had 3 firsts with my grandson!!! Around the table, from the table to the chair and walking by holding hands. Have to have some kind of highlight.

reprint from one I posted here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/persona...s-t180946.html
