LaQuita, a nice deal, and a nice SM. Enjoy her.

Mpeters, always start with a new needle -- even then you can sometimes get a batch of bad needles! Make sure the needle is inserted correctly with the flat side to the right.

I have posted a nice 15-91 to classifieds. One owner machine with cabinet and neat attachments.

He's great!! Glad you posted this; I had lost track of him. It looks like he's moved--used to be in Peoria.

Nancy, its amazing how the Singer treadles stood the test of time. It seems they were made to last forever. I used my mom's treadle for years until I went to work and bought an electric Fleetwood. It is over 50 years old and still sews great.

I marvel at the engineering and the machining work in my old sewing machines - Now days, everything metal is stamped or they just make it out of plastic. We will never see such precision ever again I fear.
