The item you found in your machine drawer looks like a hook for making hooked rugs. I used to hook ruge years ago and had what was called an automatic hook. This looks like a regular hook. The wire piece can be moved up or down on the long needle for making differemt length stitches. |

Here is my flag quilt. I made it in 2007. I have searched all morning to find a picture of our bridleless drill team carrying the flag in a 4th of July parade here a couple years ago, but I CAN'T find the picture! I really wanted to post a picture of our parade on this 4th of July day!
