First what is a PM??? I just bought a Singer 15-90 and it is in beautiful shape in a beautiful cabinet. I had to order a new light. She needs a good clean but she works great. I would welcome a place to ask questions about vintage.

Got some "before" pictures of the WW9. I had her on the table, so my chairs show in the background. I have hurt my shoulder and the Dr says not to pick anything heavy up. (makes it difficult) The seller thinks that she was the personal sewing machine of his grandmother. Her name was Elizabeth, so that will be the name the WW9 will have. Should get more info hopefully from her seller after he talks with his family more. She was seized up last night and wouldn't turn a bit. I oiled the heck out of her and she is turning fine this morning. Love these old machines !!!

I don't remember who, but I think someone here has a desire for Red vintage sewing machines. I saw these both on CL but the prices are out of this world. But I would gladly foster the first one if someone was so inclined.
http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/art/2679134807.html and in Phoenix http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/atq/2677999790.html Interesting that they are the same model. Nancy |
