Now this is a table I love....see how the needle bar appears to be centered in the table? Instead of the machine being centered in the table. I think all tables should be cut this way. My newer machine table has the machine centered and I'm forever sitting nearly straddleing the leg. I need to be centered at the working part of the machine! Anyone else feel the same?

I bought a red head in a treadle. The treadle has no pitman nor a screw to hold the skirt guard in place. The had converted it to a electric. I called a dealer where I get my old parts from to see if he had any for me. He told me that those things were just junk. He had no room to store junk and to try a junk dealer for those parts. I was horrified at his comment on just junk. Do any of you have any spare pitmans or screws that you would like to sell? Kathie

Billy, I just bought a Singer Serial G4764462. I need to know what model it is so I can get some parts and a manual. It sews but needs some tension adjustments. If I had a manual I could do more I think. It also needs face plate for the bobbin. I am using the one off my other Vintage Singer right now. I am going to attach a Pic so see if you can help me out here. I would appreciate it very much. Joy
PS: I can take more Pic's if you need them to help me out. I'm a big dummy at this stiff. Also as you can see it has been converted to electric. Nancy |

I think this is a 28, can't be totally sure of the 2nd digit in the serial number, looks to be in 1906 with a run of 225,000 numbers. Cute little machine in a nice looking treadle in the Dallas area in case anyone's interested.
