Thank all of you who liked my Jolly Santa! I wish I could give you all the pattern, but it is from Happy Hollow Designs. I tried doing a search and couldn't find the Jolly Santa, I think it is sold out. It came with the pattern, glasses, beard, and bell. If you guys want to PM me, I can give you the dimensions so you can make your own!

2sheets, you can get the belts at most sewing repair shops and on-line. They come in a standard 72" size that you will have to cut and adjust to your machine. They have a little clip you will use to connect the two ends together, or you can use dental floss to sew the ends together after you cut the belt to fit your machine.

I brought my little 1945 Singer featherweight Ethel Jane back up to my daughter's with me for over Christmas. This is the second time she has been back up here with me in IL since she came down to IN to live with me in Oct. She just HAS to come with me. I also brought my 'new' attachemt to try out that I got last week. I brought me 1930's Singer Pinker, and attached her to my machine today just to see how it works. It is just so much fun to see my machine 'pink' and was easier to use than pinking shears as the fabric just zips through the pinker and I don't have to line things up again as one has to do with the shears. I even let my grand daughter Lauren, 5 try the foot petal on the table to see how the pinking is done. Then Kaitlyn, who won't be 3 until the 27th, just had to try it out too. Nothing like letting a little one put first her hand and then her foot on the foot petal. They push down hard with their feet and the machine goes FAST!!!!! Now to see what all I NEED a pinker for.......
Now I am wanting a zig zag attachment for my machines.
What other fantastic attachemts are there available for these cute little machines?

Still in search of cool hand cranks (that I am sure to be out bid on). Out of curiosity, what size needle does a 1/2 size Vesta take? (and are they all that size?)

Hi! I have a Singer Treadle without the big belt and would love to get the belt and get it up and running. Any suggestions on where to look for a replacement belt?

Sew-classic sells the belts - Charlee uses leather boot strings. Somebody on here uses pantyhose and some body else uses aquarium hose.

The only thing 'rare' IMHO is that green paint.... yuck
I picked up two with potted motors last week end. Don't know if they work.
Here is a link for fixing the potted motors.
