Too late. He nearly had to trip over it to get in the door when he came home. He looked at it....looked at me...and made a "Hmmphh" sound before he went to his recliner!

I guess that means he doesn't mind! :D

Maybe he's lost track and just thinks it's one of the current residents:>

Hey Nancy, have you seen this? Scroll down a bit. http://treadlestreasures.blogspot.co...l-treadle.html

Look familiar?

Freecycle has a Pfaff 231. It has been cleaned and retimed and won't sew. Is it worth picking up?

Have a question. I bought one of those cabinets with the inkwells in the drawer. Some idjit turned it into a writing desk but thankfully left the hinges and set screws possibly. I have a 201 in need of a cabinet. My question is were those cabinets designed with something underneath the machine like a curved piece of board or something? I have no idea and there isn't anything like that left in this cabinet. Am just curious and thanks in advance.

Candace that looks very familiar but different too. My Pfaff is Model H, and my bentwood case has the gold crown and etchings. The treadle base looks the same. Geeze, doesn't it always happen like that? You can't find one then all of a sudden several (well at least one more) pop up!

Why ask a question like that when the recipients are a bunch of collectors (hoarders?). I sent the email. It has been listed for 11 hours but maybe because it's not operational , the interest isn't there. Is it a 70s machine? The one I found online looks like that era.

Charlee,
I've seen one of those cornbread pans, but quite frankly I don't see why any would want one.
I bake my cornbread in either a cast iron skillet or a pyrex 8"x8" dish.
