Charlee I have not put it down yet. It is in my lap as I type

Nancy I think I thanked everyone and listed them all in my first post upon receiving the quilt. I thank everyone again for this lovely gift. I am still in shock and can't stop looking at it and all the blocks are signed and the machines used to make it. To even have block from England and Canada and 10 states. Such a wonderful collective effort by my friends on the VSMS. I ramble but will maybe come down to earth tomorrow. No Charlee I did not get all the things done will have to finish tomorrow.

Yes, I read your post with all the names! So cool! I know I would have cried had I received something like this! I knew you would too! It is so nice to see something happy, and good! You make all of us feel so good down deep! I know Charlee, and Miriam, and I have had a smile on our faces since we read the first post from Pat!

Aw...so glad it got there. It came out just great and it's so neat to see the product of everyone's creative juices.

Did you know if you hold down the control key and hit the plus key as many times as you like - you can make the picture bigger??? To get it smaller again you hold down the control key and hit the minus key as many times as you hit the plus key. I had to do that - those blocks are really neat!!! I love that quilt - everybody did a great job!

Just for giggles, over the wknd I did hit an estate sale,, I did buy a machine,, all I did was lift the top and make sure all parts where there and what it is , because in lifting the top boxes of things fell out and I'n bent over with people looking at my best parts... I did see one of thos elittle chorme oil cans and knowing thereall kinds of stuff inside the box, I made the deal ( 7.50 usd in cash ) grab her and took off, stopped off at a friends to shoot the bs, So we check this thing out , Hell I bought two sewing machines,, there another in it's box and inside the other box ??

he laughs and says his mom has one of those and she knows how to use it ,,,he's seen it happen ..

in reading it's box thi shas to be a semi or full industrail machine ,, it stitchers luggage, shoes, belts . handbags upholstery, you know very well if it does all that then fabric is a piece of cake,,,

How can you beat two sewing machine for 7.50 ??

This thing is like new, it has been used cause there is still thread in it .... doesn't seem to be a thing wrong with it .....

It was so much fun being a part of the making Skip's quilt. Its great to see how much he loves it. I think that grin of his will last a long time. The quilt turned out great!!!

Skip,

I'm glad you like it. My wife and I had a great time putting together the square for your quilt. We did several and then picked the one we thought was the best and sent it to Nancy. It was really fun learning how to do appliques on a sewing machine.
Now that I see the finished project I'm glad to have been invited to participate.
I hope you enjoy it for a great long time.
