Well, the serial number indicates that it started out life as a Singer 128 in 1929. I wonder if it originally had a hand attachment on it? I wouldn’t think that it was originally electric back then. What company name is on the motor plate?
Maybe it just needed a paint job to spiff it up, and that’s why the name plate was added. I believe that the numbered tension outer ring was an upgrade though.
