Default Singer 28K 1934

Friends who have estate sale have a 1934 28K in their sale this weekend. Don't need it but the addiction is there, any one have one and what are they like. Y9323851 This looks really good.
Thanks for information.

I set up a treadle for my 128's. I like them in a table, I don't like them in a portable base electric or Handcrank. BUT I don't care for a machine that isn't table mounted. it's the sliding the fabric to the needle

Assure the bobbin is present. If so it is a good machine but very available at other venues. Sews great, and very available. $20-50.00 would be my max. I have a couple, one hand crank and one with knee lever controlled electric motor.

Here in central FL the oldies don't sell really cheap and while I could find room, do not need so unless I can get it cheap will let it go. I keep watching their sales for a white featherweight like mom had. I will check tomorrow and if they still have it cheap, may change my mind.
