Standard Rotary - any info?
Here is the second machine I bought of the three. She has had a hard life - as I see welding repairs to her. The stories she could tell! Anyway her serial number I believe is 1362249. Last patent date shows Dec 20, 1904. There is wording by the feed dogs that says lockstictch. Per reading on the threads here on the QB, I read up about the background at http://www.ismacs.net/sears/sears.html
Any other info anyone can share?

Questions:
Does she sew?
Other than the weld repair is she straight and true?
I wonder just what catastrophy lead to that bed being broken?
Comment:
That is an example of what people who used these old machines would go through to keep them running. In more modern times a machine broken to that extent would be tossed aside and replaced.
If I had that machine I'd cherish it just for the life she's lead.
