A view of the reproduction featherweight
This lady has a blog post and comparison of the Featherweight and the Mini reproduction of it, I thought it was interesting, thought someone else would be interested too.

I remember when these were on display/sale at Jo-Anns. Was never tempted as they did not look like care went into them. Was it a Singer anniversary that they came out? Can't remember, too much water under the brain
There are still replica machines coming out of India, someone puts a photo up in this forum frequently. Garish is the first word that comes to mind.

Huh! Another FW clone, interesting! That's a good blog post, very interesting to read about the differences between the two machines.
I've said before that I'd like to find a clone just to play with; this blog post is a good substitute.

Here is an older discussion on the Alpha Sew copy. Allbrands still has them their website for $399 refurbished.

The Alpha Sew machine certainly is a more authentic looking copy than the Mals Mini. The Allbrands ad really put me off though, did you notice how they stuck the word "Singer" every place they could to trick your mind into thinking you're getting more than you are?

Yes. I wonder how many of them are sold. They are not cheap. My last featherweight was $40 but it took me years to find it. First one was about $150 and that took me years of looking. I watch eBay and those go for a pretty penny too
