Antique black 1937 singer sewing machine. looking to sell the machine even if it means selling the parts to refrubish another black 1937 singer sewing machine. Also have another older sewing machine that has a table in which the machine comes out. just selling the machine.
I will have to check. I will be back in town in a couple of weeks and I can text the model number to you if that is okay

I would have had it been black and had a pedal, but blue and a motor ?? wellllllll , doesn't sound like a 1917 and maybe a bit to advanced for me.. it didn't sound like it was worth the 20 $ drive..
beside I have a blue machine.. ya want it ? lolol it's vintage !!!!

this add has been running for weks now, each week they cancel and relist to stay on top. machine look decent but the price ,, come at best $125.
Then tonight I look at portland he must have look in eugene's add LOL. the portland add , is it just me or is there something wrong with this picture ? after all that manual says 201e. How old is that machine ?? In view of the fact that a scammer may buy it , I vote he should keep that rare machine so his kids can say it was grandpa's

Singer's model 15, first introduced in 1870, has a round bobbin. The 27/127 and 28/128, first manufactured in 1885, have a bullet bobbin. So it wasn't an all at once switchover.

the one in portland sure looks like a 66 to me. along with he has a 201 manual, from what I have and seen singer used flowers for the decals until about 1900, somewhere in the 20's went the plain singer and scroll work . The crank is singer but no decals. it looks like a 7 diget serail number which would be correct for the yr listed.
