No argument one way or the other. But I think I can see the motor casing peering around from the left, so maybe it's not the motor that is installed in the housing? Needles have been around $1/ea lately on ebay through seller jsmrepair (not me). I have one of these, because I gather New Homes, Nationals and Davis's, It was a bit noisier than I'd hoped. But I really like the cabinet on that one, and cabinets for those brands seem a little rare out here.

I think it's a steal. There is no where in America you could buy a FAKE wood cabinet for that price - And the money goes to our Veteran's. Bottom line is will you use it ?? If not then the price is a bit steep for a nic-nac.

For that cabinet, yes I would. I love New Homes because of the greyhound logo but they often take their own needles, feet, etc. so can be inconvenient. If it comes with loads of needles, bobbins & feet, I'd absolutely add another to my house.
