I found the best place to find ugly fabric is the donation bin of fabrics at your church community center. Wow -- there are some really OLD uglies there. But we've been using them (very carefully) and have made up quite a few really nice "comfort quilts" for other church members. I'll try to display a few if we have another round of "Ugliest Fabric" here.
