Upon buying an old Singer Sewing Machine today, I found a website to get a little info on it here:

You can get manuals for your old machine at this site. I found out I got a Model 128-13. It has the shuttle and bobbin winder like my old treadle had. It does run but does skip bobbin thread once in awhile. It has it's own cabinet also.
