I have one of the earlier LG front loaders and I just love it! I've never had a balance problem, we did have a slight problem with mold but we just do a quick wipe off every few loads and that hasn't been a problem. My water bill went way down and since they are larger machines I have to do less loads! They are also quiet as a mouse!
