I have the Whirlpool Duet set (front loading) I've had a hard time getting it level, so there's a little vibration, but my son in his early twenties who thinks he knows everything is the one that set it up..its on a pedestal because my back doesn't do the bend and reach anymore!! But I love it, my water bill has decreased significantly (from $150 or more to 115 this last time for 3 months) and my gas bill is much lower too :D There is a pre wash, but no soak. But the 'whitest whites' cycle gets work socks and t-shirts much cleaner that soaking or prewash did in the old toploader. I love it and the grand daughter always wants to help granny with laundry so she can push the buttons (which make noise) and watch it start washing!!..an added bonus indeed :lol:
