My daughter is crazy about hummers! When she lived down by the river, she would have dozens feeding and flying across her porch. If the feeders were empty, they would stop right in front of her face, or hover by her door until she came out and refilled them. I didn/'t believe her until I had one stop no more than 15 inches from my face and chatter at me. There were so many we could sit and watch them fly back and forth to the trees, and actually sdee them on the limbs. Now she is back in the city and only sees one or two at a time. She hated it at the river, but loved those hummers. She also had wild ducks that would come peck at her door to be fed!
