Marsye , I've been to Retreats that were quite structured with classes. That was a lot of fun, at Cedar Lodge, Blackstrap, in Saskatchewan , Canada. We had rooms in the lodge, & the most wonderful food, a view of the frozen lake, where they were ice fishing. Then I've been to one in a community hall in a small town near here, where we quilt, quilt, quilt & share & just have fun. They cook for us but we went home to sleep. It's just a wonderful holiday away from our sewing room, cooking & the telephone. Would go to more if I could afford it.
