I make "Patriotic quilts" for the "Snowball express that comes thru Dallas every year. And we make pillowcases to send to Iraq for troops. They get pillows and no covers. One batallion sent us a thank you card with their picture and each is holding his pillow. (heart palpatations). There are so many sites now to donate to. My dad was Army retired, My husband is Air Force, I have two sons who each served 8 years in the Army. I am definitely an army brat. Thank you to all the families of those who fight for us. Last summer we were out at the DFW airport with quilts for children and the Moms or dads would stop at out booth and we would film them on dvd saying something to their loved ones, then we would mail the quilt and the dvd to their children and wife. Some would read stories on the dvd for their children's night=night. I will continue to pray and support our troops every where.
