One of my Guilds makes Quilts of Valor - which is a national organization that provides large lap quilts to wounded women and men. Most seem to be done in Red White and Blues. I did a flowery one - thought a woman might enjoy more.
You can probably just Google "quilts of valor" if you're interested.
