I have been quilting only less than two years. The Beginning class I took used Yellow Brick Road pattern by Terry Atkinson. I have used that pattern several times since for a baby quilt and a tablecloth. It is so easy and showcases your fabrics so well. It has instructions for baby up to Queen sizes and is designed for fat quarters. It is a great way to use of scraps or your stash.
