I'm glad you decided to rip it out and do it over. after doing a beautiful quilt, it's a shame to let it be ruined. a few weeks back, I asked for help to fix a wavey border due to cutting some things on the bias. the board gave me lots of things to try, but I just took apart the pieces that were wrong and then put on borders and now it's fine. If it can be fixed use that seam ripper. I learned some valuable lessons in the process.
