That film serves a purpose. If you leave it on there, your next spill is so much easier to clean off. We use Windex and a razor blade (if needed) to get the ceramic really clean and then "clean" it again with the filmy stuff.
I will leave it on next time..and try it. but it really doesnt look clean. thank you
