The library might have some fun, free stuff to do.
Wonderful recipe online for the playdough, printed off years ago. Really easy, and lots cheaper than "store-bought." The six yr old will certainly be provided this little item!
I do take them to whatever the Library provides that week. Last year (if I recall correctly) they had musicians provide a huge variety of precusion instruments...and worked with all the kids on drums skills. Fun stuff. They were here when the OK History Museum (directly east of State Capitol) was holding the Centennial event...fine broad selections from every people group here at State's beginning. Kids discovered latin dance, and took to it! We were so happy to see them trying out all new things...from corn husk dolls to latin dance and everything in between...irish folk music ended the day. Wish it had not been a one time event there!
