I have one. I like it. I sometimes use gloves. But when I am using the halo, I love being glove-free. When I pick threads off, I have to take my gloves off. When I scratch my nose, I have to take my gloves off, etc etc...

The halo is not great for small projects. You need to have room all around the edge of your piece in order for the halo to sit on. If you quilt close to the edge, you will find that your halo will grip/stick to your sewing surface.
