Hi Stefanib123, I was born and raised in Letcher Co KY, and my Grandfather was a coffin maker in the early 1900's and my Grandmother made the coffin liners. She had a Coffin quilt but I only saw it once as a child. I'm very interested in finding out more about these pieces of our hertiage. I do still have a sun bonnet that Grandma made from left over coffin fabric. It's beautiful and morbid at the same time, it was made from her own Fathers' coffin liner.
