I don't think the article means wide. I think it means shelf space. They are increasing the shelf space of the jewelry department from 88 to 120 feet which seems like an outrageous amount but jewelry usually hangs so that would convert to square feet and it's not as much "space" as it sounds like. The newly renovated and relocated Super Joann's that I went to yesterday has the fabric and several other items on very tall rolling carts so they can re-arrange entire departments of stuff in minutes. Still got the same old dollar store crap at the front, though. What's up with that?
