I used to rush home from school to watch Dark Shadows. That had to be the most low budget, worst show of all times but I loved it. I remember when the one actress's skirt actually caught on fire and "behind the scenes" people came scurrying out to put it out, seeing the wrinkles in the tarp that was supposed be the ground in the cemetery. I completly forgot about Dark Shadows. My DM lived for that show. She has the complete DVD set.
Look closely at the sets and scenery. Can you see the seams and wrinkles in the canvas tarp used for the cemetery? They just sprinkled some leave on it. When the girl's dress caught on fire she was standing in the doorway talking to either Barnabas or the wolf guy, wasn't his name Quinton? (he was the one I liked---those eyes made my young heart swoon)
