Pizza was a biggie when I was living in the Pacific Northwest. My BFF and I would have it at least once a week or more. I had a friend who toured Europe and said she couldn't get good pizza anywhere. Didn't even like it in Italy, where they scoffed at the mention of pizza.

I worked with an Australian for a while, and she raved about Vegamite (sp?) and how it was darn near the national food there. She had some sent over so I could try it. I thought I'd never get that first bite down, and wouldn't risk a second. I thought the stuff was horrible - looked awful, smelled awful, and tasted awful. But, she loved it.
