My blocks are supposed to be 10.5", but in a couple of blocks there's one or two sides that's 1/8" off and in one block there's one side that's a 1/4" off. In the one that is off the most, you might try measuring your seams and see if there a couple of seams you could resew and make it work better. I'd try that before I pitched it. Have fun on your trip!!!!
