I got this recipe almost 50 yrs ago from my aunt in indiana called "top of the stove cookies" mix together 2 C sugar 2Tb cocoa add 2 Tb butter 1/2 C milk and "boil 1 minute" then add 1/2 C peanut butter 1 tsp vanilla 3 C quick oats 1/4 C coconut. Mix well and drop by tablespoonful on foil or wax paper. (sometimes I add chopped nuts or raisins.)Hope you get the recipe you wanted. these are called no bakes these days. same cookie modern name. good luck. Mary
