Self taught...no one around close to me quilts...no guilds for me to join. I didn't use stablizer & I am still using the quilt on the bed in winter after 20 years. I cut up knits from my MIL's old clothes. Put a 'used' sheet blanket on the back & no batting. I use what I can!
Everyone here has their own way & I don't have 'quilt' police in my home.
