Who taught you how to quilt?

What pattern was the first quilt you made?

Do you still have your 1st quilt?

Which of your quilts is your favorite and why?

What do you do with the quilts you make?

What is the oldest quilt in your collection?

Do you belong to a guild, or attend workshops?

Have you ever entered a quilt in a quilt-show or fair?

Have you encouraged others to try quilting?

Why do you quilt?

I joined our quilting/sewing group at church 2 years ago.
My first quilt was a rag quilt for my step-son. It was just awful, but he never said anything. He still has it , but I'm actually in the process of making him a new one! :)
I've never entered anything in a show.
I've tried to get my mom and sisters into it, but not quite there yet.
I just really love to quilt. It's peaceful and calming. OK - yeah there are times when I want to throw my machine across the room! LOL
I have given everything that I've made away to family and friends. I guess just another way to show that I love them. :)
