There was a time when my DH was on my case about every nickel I spent on a hobby. It made me very unhappy and spoiled the hobby. He's not a bad man, though, and I think he finally caught on to how unhappy it was making me. I can tell he's tried very hard to change his ways, and he's been very supportive of quilting. I know I've done things that have made him unhappy too though, and so we're still even. No marriage and no person is perfect, but we're doing pretty well after 35 years.
