It seems there are as many types of husbands as there are quilters. Mine is a real sweetheart and supports my quilting. When I first got interested, he went on line and found the Grace frame site and we got a frame even though I did not know much about quilting. He is very patient in putting stuff together (not in other things though) and put it together and now it sits in front of my double windows in the dining room. He does, however, wonder what I am ever going to do with all those fabrics I collected in a moment of madness. He is definitely a keeper and after 47 years, we put up with each other and our foibles.
