I would try calling the local steel fabricators or find them online, and ask them before you risk anymore damage. I burnt a pan badly about a month ago. I used hot water to soak for two days, then used SOS on it. It is still stained, but I have my pan to use. You also might try steel polish for appliances, but be VERY careful to wash/rinse completely before using. My pan is not as nice or pricey like yours, but it took me years to find these pans with straight sides, and I will not give them up if I can help it.
