Well, one thought is... why try so hard to remove it ? It doesnt have any taste, isnt poisonous, doesnt want to come off, so why not just go ahead and cook in it and hope in some time it lessens. Its just an *appearance* thing really, maybe not justifying all the chemicals and unfood-friendly things you are putting on it for reasons of *appearance only*. Just use it.
